Enjoy views of the lush rice terrace in the Bee Cafe that was built with the Wantilan Subak in mind: an irrigation community house. Farmers gather here to rest and eat after a long, hard day at work so you can truly experience an authentic Balinese experience as you indulge in delectable dishes prepared with Indonesian food. Guests can enjoy dishes made by the Executive Chef like Suckling Pig Steamed Bun, Balinese Pork Ribs, and the famous Sambal Mata Pizza.

Visit the local Ubud Art Market which is open daily, opposite the Puri Saren Royal Ubub Palace. This market is the perfect place to find and purchase silk scarves, lightweight shirts, statues, kites, handmade woven bags, baskets, hats and many other hand-crafted items. Majority of these items are made in neighbouring villages such as Pengosekan, Tegallalang, Payangan and Peliatan and the market is situated at the centre of these villages.

Originally named Ceking Rice Terraces, these rice fields are available for visitors to explore the stunning setting of rice paddies by paying an entrance fee. The rice terraces stand 600 metres above sea level, providing visitors with breath taking views and you will also have the opportunity to taste luwakee coffee as you soak in the scenery around you.

Take a short walk along the Campuhan Ridge Walk which will take you up and down a ridge along rice fields and palm trees as you enjoy the peacefulness and tranquillity away from the bustle of the city. The walk will take you through rice fields and will also lead you through an area of shops and restaurants that you can visit along the way.

Visit the Ubud Palace, an old building complex with beautiful carvings and courtyards. The palace was an important building in the 1800s where the top Balinese artists would go to show off their skills and there is a lot of art and culture to observe. The walls and doorways within the palace have intricate frog-like demon faces carved into the stone as well as gold winged flowers and stone monkey carvings in a door at the back of the courtyard.
