Location

Awasi Patagonia lies within a neighbouring private reserve – the Torres del Paine National Park, where stunning views can be appreciated of the Towers and Lake Sarmiento. The site chosen is protected from the strong Patagonian winds by lush native forest of beech and ñires. The fauna is intact in these forests and plains, may be guanacos, rheas, foxes, and sometimes condors, pumas. The strategic location of Awasi Patagonia invites you to enjoy the Torres del Paine National Park from the privacy of the lodge.

Rooms and Facilities

Inspired by old Patagonian shelters and ranching outposts, the Awasi Patagonia Lodge has only 12 villas (one of them with two suites) in the private reserve. These are distributed in such a way as to ensure the utmost privacy and also offer the best views of the forest, Lake Sarmiento, the pampas and Torres del Paine.

A few meters away from the villas are the common areas overlooking the majestic scenery. The main house includes the restaurant, reception desk and comfortable lounges. Protecting the environment and surroundings, the buildings are made of local procured wood, allowing the structures to blend into the incomparable natural landscape.

Sustainability

With properties located in three of South America’s most unique environments, Awasi put a focus on protection and conservation of their surroundings. Awasi are committed to protecting their natural and cultural heritage through the conservation of their ecosystems, the reintroduction of native species and the implementation of concrete social initiatives. Awasi are also carbon neutral, as they protect 340 hectares of native woodland in Iguazú and Patagonia. These areas absorb over 10,000 tonnes of CO2 per year. This amount is greater than the emissions generated by our three lodges, including the travel emissions of our guests.
