The Pool View Suites (Junior and Master) are both exquisitely furnished with a large bedroom and lavish bathroom home to a stone bathtub and a steam room. These two Ocean Villas both have a large, well-furnished veranda perfect for relaxing and dining that overlooks the lush gardens below and the 15m infinity pool shared with one or two other villas. The layout of the Ocean Vill and the Premier Ocean Villa is slightly different with the Ocean Villa’s bathroom having its own area for the stone bathtub that opens onto the garden, and the Premier Villa having a small entrance lobby that leads into the elegantly furnished bedroom.

The Cape Pool Villa is surrounded by lush tropical gardens that can be seen from the upstairs and downstairs veranda. The Dilmah Conservation has multiple programmes working with children such as MJF Kids and MJF Youth which provides children in underprivileged children from low income families with education and life skills. The Rainbow Centre provides services for children with disabilities and their families. The Dilmah Conservation’s entrepreneur programmes work with individuals recently released from prison with the Prison Reform & Integrate Programme, war widows, and youth who are trying to set up their own enterprises. The Small Entrepreneur Programme (SEP) provides necessary assistance, in most cases material grants, to those who need it to launch their business.

As part of its commitment to protect Sri Lanka’s biodiversity and natural heritage, Dilmah Conservation works in the area surrounding Thoppigala Rock. They work with the Heritage Park there to educate visitors on the historical, cultural, and environmental importance of this area. The Dilmah Conservation also works with the Ahikuntaka and Veddah communities that have been negatively impacted by environmental and social change in the country. Dilmah Conservation works to help these communities preserve their cultural heritage whilst also enhancing their livelihoods through vocational training and SEP.

Most Marine ecosystems are under threat from human activity and development. Dilmah Conservation has worked extensively to help conserve and aid in sustainable management of the reefs around Sri Lanka. They map the reefs and intend to make Kayankerni Reef in the east coast a marine sanctuary. They also work to preserve other reefs across Sri Lanka.

Dilmah Conservation supports the Elephant Transit Home (ETH) in Udawalawe. The ETH operates a rescue and rehabilitation programme for orphaned elephant calves with minimal human contact. They return them to the wild when they are old enough. They also raise awareness about elephants and the threats that they face.

Being an island nation, Sri Lanka is particularly susceptible to the impacts of climate change. Dilmah Conservation established Sri Lanka’s first Climate Change Research Station to address the lack of scientific research of climate change in Sri Lanka.
