Location

Cinnamon Lakeside is located along the banks of Beira Lake in Colombo, 10 minutes’ drive from Crescat Boulevard shopping mall. It features 9 dining options and a full-service health club.

Rooms

Stylish rooms have a flat-screen TV, safety deposit box and tea and coffee-making facilities. All rooms have a marble bathroom. Some rooms include a separate living area, executive privileges and a balcony.

Included Activities

Guests can swim in the outdoor pool, or enjoy a massage at Azmaara Spa. The hotel also has tennis and squash courts and a gym. Exclusive to guests, The Library is a lounge by day and a club by night. Offering both indoor seating and outdoor lakeside dining, 7° North serves Mediterranean dishes, cocktails and wines. Other restaurants include Thai, Singaporean and Japanese options. Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo is a 45-minute drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. Odel Department Store is 2 km away.

Sustainability

The hotel’s water policy seeks to conserve and optimise the use of water obtained from surface and ground water sources. We also attempt to re-use waste water after treatment when possible, to reduce the intake of fresh water. All the resorts actively engage in recycling water being used for the gardening and washing requirements of the respective properties. Secondly, the hotel strongly believes in the manta: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle; multiple initiatives are in place to meet their waste reduction goals. A state-of-the-art waste management system has enabled all resorts to effectively segregate, recycle and responsibly dispose of waste in an environmentally-friendly manner. In the Sri Lankan resorts, wet waste is used to generate energy whilst the remainder is sent to local piggeries. Recyclable material obtained from dry waste is sent to recyclers certified by the Central Environmental Authority and garden waste is used to generate eco-friendly fertilisers. Lastly, protecting the bio-diversity and natural elements around the hotel has become second nature to Cinnamon Bey. The launch of Cinnamon Nature Trails and the training of expert naturalists enable us to pass on this knowledge to our guests and staff as well.

The Library

The choice to savour only the finer things in life comes with a little experience. Or at least, with a very refined outlook about everything in general. A classic tribute to this way of living is The Library, a bar that is open to members only and takes privacy and exclusivity seriously.

Well, it’s always the ambience at our café, Goodies. A divine range of French pastries, sinful cakes, savoury breads, and scrumptious sandwiches paired with refreshing drinks, make it the perfect place for a pleasant chat.

Long Feng

Enter this restaurant for lunch, and the traditional red and mustard colours of China will welcome you. Make yourself comfortable, check out the paintings on the walls and browse through the extensive menu featuring authentic Chinese cuisine.

Royal Thai

Ask for a table for two or a private dining space for 10 to 12 at Royal Thai, the only restaurant to receive a certificate of authenticity from the Thai Embassy of Sri Lanka. Let our chef transport you to her homeland with a blend of flavours and spices handed down over time.
