Hotel Antumalal

The hotel can accommodate up to 56 guests in rooms, suites and chalets with individual fireplaces and panoramic windows overlooking Villarrica Lake. Rooms come in a variety of categories which can house everything from couples on a romantic getaway to large family holidays. Complete with native wood, individual fireplaces and stunning views, the Hotel Antumalal creates a warm, inviting atmosphere for its guests. All rooms come with heating, a safe, hairdryer, telephone, TV, and access to the wonderful onsite facilities. The restaurant is wonderful and serves a variety of dishes to suit your needs. Or, for a relaxing experience there is an onsite garden, outdoor pool or Spa Antumaco which offer style and serenity in a magnificent setting.

The lake house can accommodate up to 6 people. Facilities includes a living room with kitchenette and large fireplace, private terrace, one double bedroom with ensuite, a second bedroom with double bed plus a twin bedroom that share an additional bathroom, private terrace, panoramic views over Villarrica lake and free Wifi. Lake House Antumalal is located at the lake edge and guests can access via stone steps, however, it’s not recommended for families with very small children or people with mobility difficulties. The nearest parking is located 50m from the chalet.

This suite can accommodate up to 4 people. Facilities include; one double bedroom and one twin bedroom that share a bathroom, heating, cots available upon request and free Wifi. Lake Family Suite does have a fireplace and the bathroom is located in-between both bedrooms. The suite is located on the second floor of the main building.

This room sleeps up to 2 people, making it perfect for couples. Facilities include; one double bedroom with fireplace, ensuite bathroom, heating, room service, room safe and free Wifi.

The Royal Chalet can accommodate up to 5 people. Facilities include; living room with kitchenette and large fireplace, private terrace, one double bedroom with ensuite, one twin bedroom, one single bedroom and two additional bathrooms, heating, balcony, panoramic views over the lake and free Wifi. Royal Chalet is located 40m from the main building.

The hotel’s restaurant serves fresh local cuisines, with vegetables from the hotel’s own organic garden. Dishes are all homemade chilean cuisines with gourmet touches and preparations brought from European settlers who inhabited the south. The restaurant is high quality and warm, inviting the characterises of the south and with views that you will never forget.

Being so well-located, there is a variety of activities and experiences for travellers to make use of. Only a short walk away is the centre of Pucon, which is home too exciting points of interest such as exploring hot springs, tours of the city, hikes, kayaking in the national park – Huerquehue. Or, if you love to be in the sun, the Playa Grande Beach is only 2 km away.

The hotel has its own spa making it perfect after a long day trip or hike. Spa Antumaco has been created with serenity in mind. It is carved into natural rock, the original pool has been divided into two creating both indoor and outdoor pools. The division was created by inserting glass panes into the water allowing for unbroken continuity of the views out from the Spa and over the lake. The sauna also boats panoramic views and is complemented with a sensation shower. In addition, there is a hydro massage pool from where you can truly appreciate the meaning of the word “Antumaco” – Place of Sun and Water.

Sailing on Lake Villarrica is a great way to relax and explore the lake . You will view the Peninsula and Hotel Antumalal from the water and will sail to the delta of the river Trancura. In a true classic sailboat you can also learn the basics of sailing. This activity includes snacks, drinks, wine and beer.

The Termas Geométricas Hot Springs takes advantage of more than sixty sources of pure thermal water that naturally sprout at 80°C (176°F) given the place’s proximity to the magmatic layer of the Villarrica volcano. There are twenty pools with varying temperatures connected by 450 meters of wooden walkways which cross the entire centre and allow people to walk up and down the ravine. A simply unique architecture inserted into the middle of a natural environment which is an impossible experience to forget. You will enjoy relaxing in one of the 17 pools which are united by wooden walkways built over the water and in-between ancient endemic forests. Excursion includes transport only.

This excursion takes place in the Cerduo valley which is just outside Pucón and is a mix of trekking with climbing. Via Ferrata is a type of assisted rock climbing where you ascend around 300m using metal steps that are inserted into the rock and secured by a steel line ensuring all the necessary safety. From the top you have views of Villarrica volcano and the Caburgua valley. No rock climbing experience necessary for this activity. A good physical condition is required. Includes: climbing equipment, insurance, transfers, snack and guides.

Hotel Antumalal uses only home grown products from its gardens, which are used for its daily cuisines at its restaurant again, which connects the hotel back to nature and the regions beautiful surroundings.
