Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (breakfast included), Kiosko Bar and Restaurant offers its guests an à la carte menu of local Dominican dishes, showcasing fantastic Caribbean cuisine. Between December and March, you have the unique opportunity to observe humpback whales in their natural mating grounds as they gather in Samana Bay. Travelling from as far as the seas surrounding Iceland, these whales gather here to give birth in the warm waters of the Caribbean, and remain in the waters of the Bay with their infant calves until spring. So take part in the unforgettable opportunity and head out onto the water to spot tails breaking through the waves.

Take a trip to Los Haitises National Park, a short drive from Playa Colibri, to discover the all the different landscapes and ecosystems home to many a wild and wonder creature. Explore the mangroves and rockfaces, all draped in verdant greenery. A special spot in part of the Bay of Samana is the immense reserve full of caves that feature Taino pictographs.

Riding through the mountains on quad-bikes, you can explore the hills and venture through the Dominican countryside. Stopping at a coffee house for a tasting and to learn about the famous Dominican coffee production, then stopping at a cigar factory. Riding towards El Limon, you can explore and enjoy all that the Samana Province has to offer, ending your afternoon on the beaches of El Limon and Barbacoa.
