Location
The eco-lodge is situated with breathtaking views of the Añangu lake and the Amazon rain-forest. To get to the lodge, a 30 minute flight can be taken from the capital city of Quito. This will bring you over the Eastern Andes mountain range to the city of Coca, known as the “Gateway to the Amazon”. A modern covered motorboat will take you on a comfortable 2.5 hour ride from the port of La Misión to the Napo Wildlife Center welcome station in Yasuní National Park. From there, guests enter dugout canoes operated by expert guides and paddle through the tranquil waters of Añangu Creek, until you reach the lagoon of Napo Wildlife Center.
The center is open Monday to Saturday (extra charges apply on Sunday).

Sustainability
“Napo Wildlife Center is an exceptional example of a grassroots eco-tourism project. As a responsible and sustainable enterprise, we continuously invest in environmentally conscious infrastructure. Our efforts are among the best and most advanced in all of Amazonia. Energy is generated by solar panels, industrial batteries, and silent generators, which is an efficient system with minimal environmental impact. All water is appropriately processed to maintain a healthy biome. Every aspect of life has been considered with both our guests and Mother Nature in mind.” – Napo Wildlife Center
