Location
Sacha Lodge is located within a 5,000-acre (2,000-hectare) ecological reserve in the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest. The lodge is accessible from Quito, where a 25-minutes flight will bring you to Coca and a two-hour journey speeding up the Napo River in a motorized canoe will bring you to the lodge. During free time, visitors may overlook the jungle from hammocks and often report seeing wild fauna such as toucans, agoutis and monkeys right from their cabin. Guests can also enjoy a raised lookout above the main bar and lounge, which offers a scenic view of Pilchicocha Lake.
