The Beachfront St Regis Suites are situated on the ground floor, mere steps away from the white sand and dazzling waters of the beach. The balcony is furnished with a two-guest dining table and lounge chairs for you to use while admiring the view. The inside of the suite is decorated in soothing tones with a wood-panel ceiling and a comfortable sofa.

The living space leads into a separate bedroom with a king-size bed with a leather headboard and a walk-in dressing room. Instead of a traditional bathroom there is a “wet room” with an open double rain-shower, a standalone bathtub, and marble vanities.

Manor House Spa Suites are located in the main building and have a refined feeling to them. They boast a private balcony with a handcrafted wooden sofa and daybed perfect for you to relax on and enjoy the view of the sparkling ocean. Inside the suite, surrounded by taupe walls and a wood-panel ceiling, the living room invites you to sit on the comfortable sofa.

The bedroom is furnished with a handcrafted bed frame with a king-size bed, an antique-style, and a walk-in closet with ample storage space.The spacious bathroom has an en-suite spa area with two massage tables for private in-room treatment provided by the wonderful Iridium Spa. Also featured are dual marble vanities, a standalone bathtub, and a separate walk-in rain-shower.

The St Regis Villa is a fully serviced, 1659-square meter property that accommodates up to eight adults and eight children below 12 years old in its four bedrooms. There’s a private entrance to the villa that’s located at the ‘One Eye’ Kite surfing spot. The villa features four heated swimming pools, a dining area, bar, lounge, office, game room, private gym, steam room, and private beach access.

The Senior Butler manages a team of talented butlers, valets, and a chef. The team ensures your experience is the best it can be by sourcing books, snacks, games, and drinks. The private chef will prepare a meal for you to enjoy in the dining rooms, on the beach, or in the private garden.

Named after a food market in Thailand where fresh produce is sold on boats, the restaurant serves a combination of Thai, Malay, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Singaporean flavours in delicious dishes. The restaurant is surrounded by water in the Iridium Spa Pavilion and is decorated in black, red, green, and gold with smooth marble floors, and wooden beams.

The Boathouse Grill offers a beachside dining location where you can admire the turquoise ocean as you enjoy your meal. The wooden beams and refined stone create a charming feel to the restaurant which compliments the surrounding palm trees and flora. Enjoy a platter of oysters and grilled prawns while sipping a vintage champagne. There is also a juice bar which offers snacks and light meals from 9am to 6pm that you can enjoy on the beach or next to the pool. Snack on fruit skewers, gazpacho, or and energy juice.

Reserving the Lotus Room or the Chef’s Table will enable you to have a private dining experience where you can enjoy specially prepared dishes. The Lotus Room is at the Floating Market restaurant and hosts up to 12 people while the Chef’s Table allows up to 6 people to view the kitchen as the chefs are in action.

Atsuko, which means “serenity” in Japanese, offers Japanese inspired cuisine in an environment decorated in blonde wood, bamboo, and beige that creates a calming atmosphere. The menu offers a selection of seafood, meat, and vegetables which are prepared in the live kitchen to create Sushi Maki, Tempura, Nigiri Salmon and more. Speciality cocktails such as the Yamazaki and the Wasabi Chocolate Martini are also on offer for you to try.

Overlooking the swimming pool, beach, and manicured Tea Garden, Le Manoir Dining Room is located on the ground floor of the Manor House. Choose to sit inside underneath the wrought iron chandeliers and amidst the photographs and artwork, or outside in an alfresco alternative. Wherever you choose, you can enjoy the exotic Mauritian flavours mixed with French, Mediterranean, Indian, and Asian styles to create a buffet breakfast or a themed dinner.

Simply India is the hotel’s signature Indian restaurant and offers exquisite Indian flavours in traditional dishes from regions across the country. The menu includes a range of tandoori specialties and subtle blends of Indian spices combined with fresh local produce.

The Fitness Club overlooks the resort’s lush tropical gardens and the large windows allow for streams of sunlight to shine into the modern interior. Fitted with state-of-the-art equipment, this is the place to keep yourself feeling great while on holiday. Fitness Specialists are on hand to help tailor a workout for you and the steam room and sauna provide a post-workout treat. 

The Fitness Centre is open 24 hours while personal training is available from 8:00 AM until 7:30 PM. Towels and water are provided to all guests.

The Watersports Centre is open from 9am to 5pm and offers a range of fun activities to try.

Snorkeling

The lagoon at St Regis is rich with wildlife and you can experience it in a snorkeling encounter. A boat can take you to a special spot along the reef where you can dive beneath the waves and explore.

Glass-Bottom Boat Trips

A trip on the glass-bottom boat will let you have a glimpse of the world beneath the waves without jumping in yourself.

Kayaking

Not only is kayaking easy to learn and lots of fun, it will also give you a different vantage point from which to admire Le Morne Mountain.

Windsurfing

You can learn how to windsurf with the Watersports Centre’s team or, if you’re experienced, you can simply ride the breeze like a pro.

Kite Flyers Club

The Kite Flyers Club is designed solely for St Regis Mauritius Resort’s younger guests. The Children’s club offers a programme of exciting and creative games for children aged 4-12 years. Some of the activities take the children outdoors and include nature walks, glass-bottom boat trips, and more. There are also plenty of indoor activities like arts & crafts, watching movies, and musical games.

Into the Wild

At the Casela Nature & Leisure Park there is a focus on fun and discovery and families are invited to explore the experiences on offer in the 11 hectares of land. Approximately 1,500 birds, turtles, lions, and monkeys roam the land and the park provides an interactive experience to educate families about the area’s preservation and natural heritage. Families can try quad biking, segway tours, walking with lions, tilapia fishing, zip lining, a mini safari, and animal feeding. The half-day experience includes round trip transfers and entrance fees.

Le Morne peninsula is a magnificent location for diving all year round. The PADI Dive Masters offer a range of courses from beginner to more advanced courses. The range of diving sites is incredible: beneath the waves amongst coral reefs, mysterious arches, tunnels, and caves, and rusted shipwrecks that could hide lost treasure. These sites can be reached by boat in 10 to 20 minutes.

The West Coast is one of the best spots for observing and interacting with wild dolphins. They come to play and feed in the bays of Black River and Tamarin, flocking to the water filled with fish. The dolphins can be seen throughout the morning but the swimming with dolphins cruise operates at 7:30am.

Spinner dolphins are very active and playful and will give you an incredible experience in the water. Bottlenose dolphins are larger and much quieter, making it easier to swim with them. The two species will not share the same spot but the chance to swim with both is surely an experience you will never forget.

Marriott Hotels minimise their environmental footprint through the sustainable management of their energy and water use, reducing their waste and carbon emissions, and increasing the use of renewable energy. They are working on replacing single-use toiletry bottles with larger reusable pump-top bottles. They also implemented internal food waste reduction resources.
