Located in Pico Bonito, this unique, lovely location will give you the feeling of being in a remote corner of Central America, yet it lies only 9 km outside the city of La Ceiba. At your doorstep are a variety of incredibly sights and experiences, including Honduras’ beautiful Pico Bonito Nature Reserve.

The hotel offers 5 individually appointed guest rooms. You will be in a quiet environment and you will be treated like a guest. Each room has a with a private bathroom and original paintings by Honduran artists. French doors open to the great outdoors and provide the perfect setting to discover the tropical rain forests of the of Central America. The rooms are incredible to relax in and enjoy nature with comfort.
You will be looked after by two hosts, Soledad and John. They are the perfect combination to insure your total pleasure. Soledad is a friendly soul with a huge heart and is a great cook, guests just love her food. John is an expert on Honduras travel. He offers a wealth of knowledge and experience for travelers looking for that special experience in Honduras and Central America.

Activities and Experiences
Some of the best white water rafting can be found on the doorstep of Villa de Soledad. Class II, III and IV rapids will challenge your ability to work as a team as you charge down the river in an inflatable raft. Two Parks, Pico Bonito National Park, flanking the West bank of the River and Nombra de Dios National Park on the East bank, are also incredible experiences if you love adventure and exploring.
There is even more to explore in the wider La Ceiba region. A large attraction of the area is Cayos Cochinos; known in English as the Hog Islands. This is a small archipelago consisting of two small islands and 11 keys that surround the islands. This is a true, pristine Caribbean paradise, located just 45 minutes from the coast via a small boat.
