Exclusive Luxury

Onduli Ridge

Onduli Ridge is a luxurious safari camp that rests among the gigantic granite boulders of Damaraland’s semi-desert wilderness. The camp consists of six suites, all en-suite and able to cater for families, as well as a relaxing communal lounge area, a vast library with a wealth of informative books, and exceptional star beds that allow guests to sleep under the glimmering night sky.

The camp is designed to blend in with the natural environment, with an earth colour scheme to blend into the surrounding granite, and is entirely powered by solar, causing a minimal impact on the environment. The light and airy suites offer breathtaking views of the semi-desert landscape and offer incredible views of Damaraland’s amazing landmarks, including the Messum and Doros craters, dry river beds and Namibia’s tallest mountain.

Chisa Busanga Camp

Chisa Busanga Camp lies within the northern part of Kafue National Park, where travellers can view the sweeping grasslands and wetlands of the Busanga Plains. The camp consists of four ‘nests’, woven elevated structures that mimic the nests of the weaver bird, often seen in trees in the surrounding area. The nests are built on legs, allowing stunning views of the plains and passing herds of wildlife, with lantern-lit stairs leading up to them (one of the nests also has a lift). Inside, the nests are fitted with wooden decks, with canvas to keep guests comfortable no matter the weather, and Chisa Busanga Camp is fully powered by solar, as are the camp’s safari vehicles which make no noise while exploring the wilderness of the Kafue National Park, preventing wildlife from being startled while also keeping carbon emissions to a minimum.

Cloud Nine Boutique Hotel

A relaxing Cape Town inner-city hotel and spa nestled at the foot of Table Mountain, Cloud Nine provides an enriching and holistic wellness experience, allowing you to heal your mind and body in the embrace of the lush weather of South Africa. Cloud Nine Boutique Hotel markets itself stylistically as ‘heritage meeting luxury’. Etienne Hanekom of Etienne Hanekom Designs, one of the designers for the hotel’s recent renovations, described the boutique as an attempt to create ‘a more local look & feel with vibrant colours from Bo-Kaap and illustrated scenes of the Atlantic seaboard by local artist Lucie de Moyencourt’.
It is built upon four separate older heritage properties, joining them together to create a blend of traditional and vintage design with something modern and cool. Primarily, it is built upon the Leeuwenvoet guest house, merging that with three older neighbouring buildings as well. As a boutique hotel, Cloud Nine places a huge amount of emphasis on visual and aesthetic embellishment. As such, much of the fine art and design collected and implemented throughout is worth taking in. At times, the line between museum and hotel becomes blurred, which only helps to make this hotel stand out as the choice of artists, directors, entrepreneurs. Anyone with an inventive or creative spirit is naturally most likely to be drawn to this establishment.
