Bakers Lodge

Located on the border of the famous Murchison Falls National Park, on the bank of the Nile River, is Bakers Lodge. Named after an early British explorer of the area, this lodge offers a traditional African safari experience. All ten thatched suites sit on raised platforms affording a view out over rolling grasslands and the nearby river, flowing past in the distance. All suites are eco friendly, with solar power hot water and local handcrafted furniture and art decorating the room. Dinner is served in the main dining room which has 180° views of the stunning surroundings, and an outdoor decking area means dinner can be enjoyed under the stars. Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge

Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge is Uganda’s highest lodge, resting over 2,000 metres above sea level and offering guests a view of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest from above cloud level. Guests can enjoy the spectacular views from their own cottages, built from volcanic stone and furnished in a comfortable yet elegant manner, with hand-woven carpets and plush armchairs. Each cottage features a lounge area, where guests can snuggle up beside a roaring fireplace and admire the amazing views of treetops, volcanoes and mountains. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southwest Uganda, sprawling across the hillsides at the edge of the Rift Valley. Kyambura Gorge Lodge

Kyambura Gorge Lodge is a modern, luxury safari lodge. Located on the border of Queen Elizabeth National Park and nearby the gorge which gave the lodge its name, guests will be surrounded by luscious trees, rolling grasslands and forested hills rising in the distance. Wellness is promoted at Londolozi Private Granite Suites, so guests can enjoy relaxing massages and re-balancing yoga sessions before heading out for the day in a game vehicle or on foot to see the marvellous diversity which the Londolozi Private Game Reserve is renowned for. Days are ended by delicious and fresh food served in the open-air main area or around the crackling fire pit in the very heart of the bush.

Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp

Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp is situated in a private 7608-acre conservancy which borders the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti. Owned and managed by the Cottar family, the camp is luxurious with 1920s touches of glamour, yet still feels like an authentic safari camp. Warmly lit ‘mess areas’ offer the perfect place for guests to enjoy a drink or meal with the other guests and form new friendships through your shared safari experience.
The camp only accommodates 28 guests when at capacity, add on to this the location in a private conservancy and you have a camp which is intimate and exclusive. Fairmont Mara Safari Club is positioned along the foot of the Aitong Hills, adjacent to the powerful Mara River.
