Chundukwa River Lodge

Chundukwa River Lodge sits on the banks of the Zambezi River, close by Livingstone. It is primely located, close enough to enjoy all the activities surrounding Victoria Falls, but far enough away to be quiet and intimate, with few tourists. The lodge is authentic and comfortable. Guests can stay in one of the chalets, which are perfect for honeymooning couples, or the 3 bedroomed cottage, perfect for families or a group of friends. The rooms are all welcoming and warm, with traditional African art, rugs, and wooden furniture and features. There are home touches throughout the lodge, with softly glowing lamps, draped mosquito netting around the beds and a communal dining area. Guests can spend the day exploring the peaceful gardens of the lodge, or can set off on a day of adventure of the surrounding area.

Little Makalolo Camp

A charming, intimate camp in the south-east of Hwange, “Little Mak” features prominently on the mental maps of local wildlife, all drawn to its reliable waterhole. A log-pile hide affords unique, thrilling close-up views of elephants, and habitat diversity ensures year-round wildlife. Activities focus on game drives and morning nature walks. The many waterholes produce amazing sightings, or guests can relax in camp and wait for wildlife to come to them. The six spacious en-suite tents (including a family tent) are only surpassed in the experience stakes by the opportunity to sleep out at the Madison Pan star bed.

Royal Chundu Zambezi Island Lodge

Royal Chundu Zambezi Island Lodge is private and exclusive, located on Katombora Island, surrounded by the flowing rapids of the Zambezi River. The lodge is authentic and luxury, and with only four lodge suites the lodge always feels quiet. Rooms have traditional thatch roofs, and floor to ceiling doors which allow bright light to fill the space and afford exceptional views of the Zambezi from the comfort of the king size bed. Authentic touches have been added through the wooden furniture and blue feature textiles, which have been created by local seamstresses. The location of the lodge is ideal, guests will be immersed in wild nature however a short trip will take them to the magnificent Victoria Falls. With no shortage of activities to choose from, guests can spend time on a boat safari, canoe down the river, day trip around the falls or explore Katombora Island on foot; this is the perfect place for adventure seekers and laid-back travellers alike.

Nantwich Lodge

Nantwich Lodge is sat in the wilds of the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. With only 9 suites this lodge feels private and exclusive, and rolling grasslands and dotted woodlands surrounding the lodge on all sides accentuates the feeling of this wonderful wild land being yours to explore. Guests can explore the area on a game drive or guided walk, both are excellent ways to find out more about the Hwange National Park and what inhabits the area, from herds of elephants, hippos, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, hyenas and lions. The lodge overlooks a large dam, which means guests have a perfect view of sly crocodiles and migratory birds who wallow in the shallows. The lodge is eco-friendly and uses local resources and ingredients wherever possible, so guests can be ensured that their stay is authentically and uniquely Zimbabwean.

Royal Chundu Zambezi River Lodge

Sitting on the banks of the Zambezi River is Royal Chundu Zambezi River Lodge, an authentic and luxurious riverside lodge, built in harmony with the surrounding nature. There are 10 lodges which are comfortable, with unique traditional touches and expansive private deckings which overlook the sparkling waters of the river. There is no shortage of exploration and adventure around the lodge, from day tripping to Victoria Falls, to exploring Katombora Island and enjoying fresh local food by the riverbank. The selections of activities includes exploration of the land, the water and the air. Robins Camp

Robins Camp, now under private new management, offers an exciting revival of the iconic safari destination in Hwange National Park. Robins Camp is situated in the rugged northern Basalt area of the park, an area rich in natural water with seeps and springs dotting the area. It is the home to some of the last great buffalo herds in Africa, with herds of over 2000 still seen. Given the abundance of prey animals, it is no wonder that it also has the highest concentration of lion in the Park. Robins is also known for big populations of reedbuck, roan, sable and tsessebe as well as the usual herds of elephants and other species encountered in the Park. Particularly encouraging are the regular sightings of both Cheetah and Painted Dog. The scenery of Robins is varied with hills, kopjes (small bouldered hills) and vlei (grassed plains that flood seasonally) areas and has a lot to offer the wildlife enthusiast. We welcome children of all ages and guests can self-drive or choose a fully guided trip.

Sable Sands

Sable Sands Lodge overlooks the ancient riverbed of the famous “Dete Vlei” and is located within a private Forestry Concession on the outskirts of the unfenced and world-famous Hwange National Park. Conveniently located 8km from the Hwange National Park and 200km from Victoria Falls, Sable Sands offers easy access to these African gems. This ‘off the grid’ eco friendly safari lodge is owner and family managed and has steadily established a great reputation for their personalised and bespoke experience complete with a passionate team, homely food and exceptional elephant encounters. Changa Safari Camp

Changa Safari Camp is situated on the shores of the beautiful Lake Kariba, offering guests stunning views of Kariba’s sapphire waters and the Matusadona mountains. The camp was founded by the Preston and Higgins families, who wanted other families to be able to visit the beautiful and rugged landscape of Matusadona National Park and appreciate the stunning and diverse natural surroundings, as well as the incredible creatures that live here. The 6 deluxe tents and 2 family rooms are set amongst the small trees that stand along the lake’s shore, offering views over the water and the sweeping landscape. The camp’s main area is a hub of entertainment and relaxation, with a refreshing lakeside swimming pool, lounge area and bar.

Rhino Safari Camp

Rhino Safari Camp is a small luxury rustic safari camp set in a wild and remote area within the Matusadona National Park on the shores of Lake Kariba. Hosting a maximum of fourteen guests in seven twin bedded rooms, our guests are offered a highly personalised safari experience that blends comfort and wildness. A permanent camp open year round. Respecting that we are the visitors in this wild environment, Rhino Safari Camp is unfenced and the wildlife roams freely on its established game trails. Guests are encouraged to relax and feel at home in the bush, with simplicity and classic hospitality, focussing on living in harmony with our environment and utilising silent energy alternatives as much as possible to create a peaceful environment to experience the sounds, sights and smells of nature.

Matusadona Luxury Houseboat

Matusadona has been described as “an intimate luxury lodge on the water”. With a length of 28.6 meters, a beam of 6.85, powered by two reliable 420 hp diesel motors, Matusadona is made up of three elegantly furnished decks with hardwood finishes and rich, classic fabrics. The lower accommodation deck provides guests with three en-suite, cabins, each tastefully decorated, made up with a queen size bed and cotton percale linens, offering air conditioning and mosquito proof portholes. The central air-conditioned Saloon Deck comprises a spacious lounge, indoor and outdoor dining areas, the gourmet galley and the wheelhouse.
