Travessia Beach Lodge

Travessia is an Eco Beach Lodge that offers its guests understated barefoot luxury. The lodge is built among the dunes beside the beach, nestled between luscious greenery and palm trees. Travessia was constructed on elevated wooden decks with timber and roll-up canvas walls, all under a roof thatched with local makuti. Wooden walkways lead from the opulent accommodations to the lodge’s reception and social areas, with a spacious deck overlooking the unrivalled environment. The lodge is entirely solar powered – ensuring a light environmental footprint. Travessia boasts a restaurant that prides itself on locally sourced, seasonal, fresh cuisine with a chef who is dedicated to making your dining experience just as incredible as the holiday itself. Ibo Island Lodge

Ibo Island lies in the Quirimbas Archipelago of northern Mozambique. Nominated for World Heritage status Ibo has been described as one of the most unique and atmospheric islands in the world. Located on the prime waterfront site where romantic dhows sail out to sea on each high tide, Ibo Island lodge encompasses magnificent mansions each over one hundred years old. Coral and lime walls over a meter thick, high lofty ceilings and original beams. Ibo Island is a potential World Heritage Site, and therefore rooms have been designed to incorporate the architecture and style of the original ruins. The lodge accommodates guests in beautifully elegant, yet simple rooms, with indigenous solid teak and mahogany furniture, handcrafted by the people of Ibo. All nine bedrooms are individual and feature a king size 4 poster, or twin hand crafted bed with crisp cotton linen and Indian silk throws. Wide verandas are a traditional feature of all Ibo mansions, but we widened ours considerably to house comfortable plantation style chairs with soft cushions. For all its tranquillity and ambience Ibo Island Lodge also offers a diverse range of activities and experiences to keep the most diverse interests occupied.

Eleven spacious, private suites are individually set within the tree line along the edge of the magnificent Zambezi River. From their elevated positions, the suites are perfectly situated to gaze across the river to the Zambezi National Park on the opposite bank, home to an array of wildlife and birds in an area of abundant natural beauty.

Tongabezi Lodge

Tongabezi Lodge is located on the banks of the Zambezi River in Zambia, just a short journey away from the magnificent Victoria Falls. Guests can stay in a variety of unique and eclectic houses or cottages, each with their own unique character, features, and stunning view of the Zambezi; and are suitable for couples wanting a romantic getaway, groups of friends or families. The main lodge has an open dining area – where guests can feast on delicious food – a gym, and sparkling swimming pools, with poolside bars.
The lodge is ideally located for prime exploration of the area, adventure out on foot, on a game drive, or on a boat safari and find out about the wonders of the area. Day trip to Victoria Falls and marvel at its striking beauty, or immerse yourself in nature in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park – guests will never be bored with the range of activities on offer, and can finish their days relaxing at the sand bar, or dining in the middle of the glorious Zambezi, creating memories which will last a lifetime.

Waterberry Zambezi Lodge

Waterberry Zambezi Lodge, on the banks of the Zambezi, is 30 minutes from Livingstone and 40 minutes from Victoria Falls. A small, friendly and informal lodge, it’s the perfect setting for visiting the amazing Falls and enjoying all the activities around Livingstone. The lodge has seven thatched cottages set in beautiful gardens around the central restaurant, viewing lounge and deck. All rooms are en suite, with air conditioning, ceiling fans, mosquito nets and private terraces. Waterberry is within easy reach of Livingstone and the Falls, but well away from the general buzz of the busy town. Guests usually spend a day around the Falls and the town and the next at the lodge, enjoying all that Waterberry has to offer – river activities and amazing birding with top class guides. A highlight is the visit to a completely uncommercial local village where many staff live and where Waterberry has built and manages local pre and primary schools.

Gorges Camp and Little Gorges

Gorges Camp and Little Gorges lie at the edge of the Batoka Gorge, just a 30-minute drive from Victoria Falls town. Here, guests can enjoy a relaxing stay, surrounded by the ground’s beautiful landscaped garden and the exquisite views of the Batoka Gorge which can be admired from your private verandah, or from the cooling waters of the swimming pool. The two camps are positioned side-by-side, overlooking the rushing waters of the Zambezi River as it makes its way to the basaltic plateau of Victoria Falls. Gorges Camp and Little Gorges enjoy a tranquil atmosphere away from the vibrant Victoria Falls town, meaning that guests can enjoy a soothing and secluded environment with stunning views, but the town is still easy to access for exciting activities such as white water rafting and tours of the local area. Gorges Camp offers a luxurious experience, where guests can stay in a comfortable thatched chalet with private balconies, whereas Little Gorge gives guests a more authentic bush camping experience where you can get close to nature and witness the thrills of safari up close.

Masuwe Lodge

Masuwe Lodge is located just 7 kms from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, it overlooks the Masuwe River and is surrounded by 1000 hectares (almost 2500 acres) of private wildlife sanctuary. The lodge offers accommodation in nine Wilderness Tents and one romantic Hide-Away. Each is constructed of canvas, thatch and stone and has a private en-suite bathroom and a private outdoor deck with views of wilderness and wildlife. There is also a Family Nest, built in the style of a farm homestead offering two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an outdoor living area with braai (BBQ) and private plunge pool. A range of guided activities are available such as visits to Victoria Falls and a tour of the Falls; game driving in the neighbouring National Park and guided bush walks.
