Nestled at the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains, Gaikou Lodge is surrounded by spectacular mountainscapes, a river and forest. A peaceful sanctuary situated just minutes off the N2, within walking distance to Swellendam and just a 2-hour drive from Cape Town.
Gaikou Lodge offers bed & breakfast accommodation, event and conference facilities on a 16 ha privately owned property. Situated within the Marloth Nature Reserve our grounds are the perfect playground for young and old.

Rosenhof Country House

Rosenhof Country House is a five-star husband-and-wife-run guest house situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn, the principal town of the Klein Karoo, a spectacular 350km valley which stretches from Montagu in the west to Uniondale in the east. The valley is encompassed by mountains, with the Swartberg Mountains in the north and the Langberge and Outeniqua mountains in the south. The valley is also home to one of the world’s longest wine routes, which stretches 270km from Montagu to De Rust.
Rosenhof Country House takes its name from the lush rose garden that leads guests to their stylishly elegant bedrooms. The homestead, originally built circa 1852, has been carefully and lovingly renovated to preserve the timeless elegance and historic architectural beauty of the property. The rooms and communal areas, including the luxury lounges and on-site pub, all benefit from carefully curated antique furnishings to create a luxurious and tranquil space for guests to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby town. With 12 Luxury Rooms, 2 Executive Suites with private pools and patios and a three-bedroom Cottage, all types of retreats can be catered to at the Rosenhof Country House. The guest houses’ ideal location makes it perfect for exploring the magnificent Klein Karoo, or just relaxing in the tranquility of the beautifully manicured grounds and watching the birds.

The One Bedroom Apartments consist of a separate bedroom with a Queen size bed & 2 X 3/4 beds in the living area.
Our Bachelor Apartments consist of 2 X 3/4 beds (which can easily be converted into a Super King size bed if you book for 2 nights or more!).
The apartments are clean, spacious & fully equipped self-catering units!

Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge

Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge lies on the edge of the Gonarexhou National Park, surrounding by lush vegetation and towering trees and overlooking the tranquil waters of the Save River. From the comfort of the lodge’s spacious patio, guests will be able to spot lounging hippos, basking crocodiles and herds of elephants as they rest on the riverbanks. The lodge is light and airy, with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the area while escaping to the cooling shade and interacting with fellow travellers. Chilo Gorge also features luxuries such as a refreshing swimming pool, library, lounge, dining room and bar, which all offer views of the lodge’s manicured gardens. Lokuthula Lodges

Lokuthula means ‘Place of Peace’ in the local Ndebele language – an apt name for these well-appointed lodges set in tranquil, indigenous gardens where warthogs mow the lush lawns! This self-catering resort consists of 31 rustic thatched lodges, and is located on the same property as the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Lokuthula Lodges may also be booked on a bed and breakfast basis. The lodges border the Zambezi National Park, and a nearby waterhole attracts a wide variety of wildlife, including buffalo, elephant, hyena and several bird species.

La Vieille Cheminée

Located in the small mountain village of Chamarel, La Vieille Cheminée is a tropical working farm with a range of eco lodges offering guests a unique stay in Mauritius. Just 15 mins away from the beach, the farm produces tropical vegetables, fruits and compost from sustainable farming, which means the food is always fresh. You are invited to discover the sustainable farm and enjoy walks or horse rides, all whilst staying in one of the six cosy and well-equipped eco-lodges. You can pre-order meals or buy basic groceries from the reception, depending on whether you choose to stay as a B&B guest or self-cater.

White Bay Villas and Cottages are positioned on Jost Van Dyke, a picturesque and rugged island which is surrounded by warm white sand beaches, and endless views of the sloping landscape, lush green tropical trees and the beautiful blue ocean.
