Welcome to Santiago! Upon your arrival, a private transfer will pick you up from Santiago Airport to take you to your selected hotel.
City Tour Santiago
For your first full day, you are invited to discover Santiago, a cosmopolitan city which has become one of South America’s most modern hubs.
Described by the international media as a surprising destination, Santiago stands out for being a cosmopolitan and modern city that perfectly combines its traditions with a modern outlook. The tour will take you to visit the heart of the city and its emblematic sites such as the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Santiago’s Central Postal Office and its Municipality. You will also visit the Moneda Palace, which is the government’s headquarters as well as the traditional neighbourhoods of the historic city centre. The tour also includes a visit to the Santa Lucia Hill or San Cristobal Hill. After knowing Santiago, we will arrive to Barrio Lastarria, famous by it cultural, inherited and gastronomical offer. Then, end the day and head back to the hotel.

Market Visits and Cooking Class
It is often said that cuisine is the best way to truly experience the heart of a city, and that is what this tour is made for. Cook authentic Chilean dishes in an informal and friendly environment where you will learn the passion of the Chilean cuisine and have fun doing it. All cooking classes are hands-on, using the freshest of local ingredients. They offer semi-private classes 100% English in small group from 2 to 10 people, an appropriate size to enjoy and learn. A private transer will pick you up from the Hotel to take you to the meeting point.
You will meet at 09:00 AM savoring the morning, at the Mercado Central, and then continue to La Vega Central, the popular fruit and vegetable market and the perfect place to discover new flavors. After buying what you need, you will take a taxi to the cooking workshop located in the beautiful Barrio Italia where your chef-instructor will guide you through the preparation of simple but delicious Chilean recipes and reveal some of his culinary secrets. Following the class, guests will enjoy a feast of Chilean dishes complemented by excellent Chilean Wines specially choose to pair with the menu prepared at the class. A private transfer will pick you up to take you from the meeting point to the Hotel. Including: visit at the market, cooking class, meal pair with wines, printed recipes, transportation from market to our kitchen and apron.
For your final day in Santiago, you will take a trip out to the countryside.
Chilean Country Side
A private transfer will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Matetic Vinyard. When you arrive at the vineyard, choose one of the activities that are available to you, you can choose between: biking, horseback riding or hiking, to enjoy a unique experience that will take you to discover the essence of the Chilean countryside, between native forests, sheep and alpacas.
It is a fantastic outdoor excursion that will allow you to enjoy the native flora and fauna of the Valley in an unforgettable atmosphere of tranquility. Then enjoy the Corralillo Tour, starting at the Wine Cellar, where visitors will be warmly welcomed by a bilingual guide who will invite them to tour the Wine Cellar enjoying panoramic views of the vineyards. This is a perfect place to learn about the wine process and organic and biodynamic agriculture. Culminating with a Corralillo wine tasting, either in the underground tasting room or on the outside terrace overlooking the vineyards. Then enjoy the Corralillo Tour ending with a delicious Rosario menu lunch or country barbecue at the Restaurant Equilibrio. A private transfer will pick you up from Matetic Vinyard to Hotel.

A private transfer will pick you up to take you from the hotel to Santiago Airport. You will then take a flight to Puerto Montt Airport, then a private transfer will pick you up to take you to your hotel in Castro, Chiloé Island.
The next day sees you explore the region further.
Castro, Pinguineras & Ancud
Leaving Castro to the North of the island heading to Puñihuil Bay at Lacuy peninsula, away fishermen village that has an excellent relationship with the three islets that make a unique ecosystem in the world, where you can find two varieties of penguins; Humboldt and Magellan, living and nesting together. Down here, you’ll take a boat to make an observation visit of approximately 30 min. and be able to see some species of birds, like: carancas, Quetros, pilpilenes, cormorants, etc. Also some sea animals, like sea lions, otters, etc.
Returning to Ancud and a visit to the Ex Convento de la Inmaculada Concepcion (former convent), where you can appreciate the restoration work at the workshop of the organization “Fundacion Friends of Churches of Chiloe”. At the end of the trip there is a possibility to take the passengers to the buses terminal in Ancud to continuing trip to Puerto Montt or returning to Castro city.

Gastronomic Tour
One of the most outstanding points of Chiloé island is the quality and gastronomic diversity, where sea and land products like: fish, meats and seafood, more than 200 varieties of native potatoes, garlic, cheese, ulmo honey and good vegetables from SIPAM gardenia all call home.
Part of the team are not only guides but also chefs, which allows them during this excursion to make necessary modifications about groceries while you buy new and interesting products during the visit of the seafood market or in the countryside. You will cook and try different type of dishes, also with time to explore the area.

Frutillar & El Lago Theater
Trip along the Llanquihue Lake, the second largest lake in Chile, and enjoy gorgeous views of the volcanoes Osorno, Calbuco, Puntiagudo and Tronador. You will be picked up from your hotel in Puerto Varas and travel to Frutillar, a charming village on the bank of the huge Llanquihue Lake. The village is noted for the German influence on the architecture developed by the immigrants who arrived around 1853. Here, you will take a walk to visit some restored colonial houses and see the strong German influence on the architecture. You will learn about the history of this picturesque town and the time of the first German settlers. Afterwards, you will visit the open-air German museum. Return to your hotel in Puerto Varas.

Petrohué and Osorno Volcano
This adventure will take you to see this active volcano, renowned for its perfect formation, and the famous Petrohué Waterfalls, both important landmarks in Southern Chile. A lake originating from a glacier and an active volcano, famous for its perfectly shaped crater, are two of the attractions you can see with this package.
The tour starts on the southern shores of the Llanquihue Lake, where you will learn about the German settlers and agriculture in the zone. Once in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, you will be able to enjoy the imposing Petrohué Waterfalls, which stun visitors with their turquoise waters. From there, you will go on to the origin of the Petrohué River, Todos los Santos Lake, where you will visit some of its sleepy beaches. By then, you will be at the foot of the Osorno Volcano to enjoy a lunch in the village of Ensenada, before continuing up to the ski resort on the volcano. On route, you will be stunned by the panoramic views of the Petrohué River valley and the beautiful Llanquihue Lake.

The next few days are spent in Puerto Natales, the first day finds you exploring Estancia La Peninsula.
Estancia La Peninsula
A perfect way to live and learn about life at a Patagonian ranch combined with navigation through the fjords, adventurous activities and delicious food. You are invited to be part of the project based on animal welfare, conservation of nature, sustainable production and high-quality service. A private transfer will pick you up to the meeting point. You will start the journey by navigating from Puerto Natales to the Estancia La Península, a beautiful ranch located on the peninsula, Antonio Varas. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with some warm coffee, tea, mate, and fried bread.
Then the activities start: you can choose between horseback riding, trekking, 4 × 4 four-wheel drive or relaxing time at the estancia. The activities take approximate 2 hours and when finished a delicious traditional lamb barbecue is waiting! Then it’s time to learn about how they work with sheepdogs and see a shearing of a sheep and learn about the whole process and how we classify the wool.
Balmaceda & Serrano Navigation
The next day will then be spent on a spectacular expedition in Puerto Natales. You will begin your expedition by setting sail on the catamaran. Beginning your navigation through the Señoret Canal, you will pass in front of the Bories Refrigerating National Historical Monument, a construction from 1913, which stands out for its post-Victorian English-style industrial architecture. You will continue the trip until you reach Guanaco Island, where you will see the beautiful Magellanic dolphins a wonder that cannot be missed.
Navigation will continue until you find the main destination, Monte Balmaceda, from where we can see the spectacular Balmaceda Glacier. You will disembark in Puerto Toro, where together with your guide, you will take a 1 km walk along the shore of Laguna Témpanos, through a path of not much difficulty. After that break, you will continue towards the Serrano Glacier, through a native forest of coigües, ñirres and plum trees, enjoying the imposing vegetation and the contrast between the sky and the sea ice. Upon arrival at the Serrano Glacier, we will enjoy a whiskey with ancient ice, accompanied by a spectacular panoramic view of the Serrano Glacier.
Torres del Paine & Milodón Cave
For the last day in the Puerto Natales, you will travel to Torres del Paine and Milodon Cave.
Departing from the Hotel in Puerto Natales. You will start your tour visiting the Milodon Cave Natural monument about 30 minutes away from the town. This cave was discovered by a German Captain in 1895. He found a skin piece of a prehistoric animal called “Milodon” of 10000 years old. You will have a 30-minute walk to visit the Cave. Next, you’ll drive 45 minutes to your next stop, the Village of Cerro Castillo, heart of the sheep Farming Business in the Area. Here you can make a break of 20 minutes before you continue to travel along big glacier valleys now occupied by sheep farms. About 30 minutes after you leave Cerro Castillo, you will spot the mountains of the Paine Massif (if the weather is favorable) including the famous Torres del Paine and the spectacular Cuernos del Paine.
There are several viewpoints from where you are able to observe this amazing mountain formation. Also, you can see lakes Sarmiento and Amarga before reaching the park’s entrance. This area is also the best place to observe the wild life of the park such as guanacos, ñandues, condors, etc. in big numbers and close to the road. You continue to the central area of the park to observe lakes like Nördenskjold and Pehoe which have a characteristic colour.
Also, the waterfall Salto Grande is another of the main highlights in this side of the park. You will stop in a restaurant to have lunch and then continue to the west side, the area of Lake Grey. You hike for about 1 hour to reach the lake shore in which you see many icebergs that come from the Grey Glacier, evidence of the last Ice Age here in Patagonia. After visiting this area you’ll start to drive back to the town and return to your hotel.

A private transfer will pick you up from your Hotel to take you to Puerto Natales Bus Station. Take the Public Bus that will take you from Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas Airport. A shared transfer from the hotel will pick you up to take you from Santiago Airport to Hotel.

Please coordinate with the front-desk 1-hour prior your departure for them to be ready and take you back to the airport. You will then return home on your departing flight.
