Today you will be taken to one of the most beautiful spots in the Dominican Republic, Paradise Island. You will be picked up after breakfast from the beach and taken by boat out to the island where you can spend the day exploring the tropical waters.
Make sure you have snorkelling equipment and spend your time amongst the stunning coral reefs that surround the island. For marine animal lovers there are endless opportunities to spot tropical fish such as surgeonfish, sergeant major fish, damselfish, angelfish, and yellowtail snapper, as well as octopus and crabs in the clear blue waters. Today is another action-packed day as you visit the 27 waterfalls in Damajagua. The 27 waterfalls are a thrilling addition to any Dominican adventure. Mistranslated from the Spanish Charcos or “pools”, the site containing a total of 12 waterfalls, some stretching as high as 13 meters.
With a local tour guide on hand to help you every step of the way you can be sure to have a fantastic experience. Slide, jump and swim your way down these waterfalls as you take in the beauty of these natural formations and make fun memories to take home. Your tour guide is highly trained and will instruct you on the safest way to enter the pool whether you wish to jump or walk around they will ensure you have the best experience for you.
For the very brave and fit adventurer you can try and climb to the 27th waterfall for spectacular views across the pools and lush vegetation below.

Enjoy a relaxed day of cultural experiences today as you tour Puerto Plata. The city rose to prominence due to the sugarcane brought and planted by Christopher Columbus and is a beautiful mix of Victorian architecture and open park spaces.
Begin your day by taking the only cable car in the Caribbean to the top of Mount Isabel de Torres where you will see the landmark Christ the Redeemer figure similar to the famous Brazilian statue. Experience stunning views across Puerto Plata and take the opportunity to hike the botanical gardens at the peak of the mountain if time permits.
After your invigorating exploration of Mount Isabel de Torres, you will come back to earth and begin your tour of the city. Your tour will take you around the Amber Museum, home to a valuable collection of Dominican amber (classed as semiprecious) and Fort San Felipe. This Spanish fortress is an important monument in the history of Puerto Plata as it was used to defend the area from British, French and Dutch pirates attempting to steal the gold found at Puerto Plata.
End your day with a tour around the biggest rum distillery, Brugal, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the process of making rum and taste some of their favourite rums.

Your day begins at the eastern edge of Cabarete where you will set off on a two-hour kayak along the coast to an area known as La Boca de Yasica (where the mouth of the River Yasica meets the sea). Your time will be spent exploring the beach looking for unusual shells and driftwood and attempt to surf your kayaks before heading into La Boca. Dining in La Boca will have a traditional Dominican feel featuring foods such as roast chicken, rice, beans, roasted plantains and salad.
In the afternoon you will hop back into your kayaks and head through a tributary before arriving at a reptile farm where you will be spending the remainder of the day. A highly unique, fascinating experience you will be exposed to both indigenous and non-indigenous iguana, pythons, saltwater crocodiles and many different species of birds.

Your final day in the Dominican Republic will be spent in the relaxing waters of the hidden gem Dudu Lagoon.
