A 6 day, 5 night Victoria Falls and Safari experience staying at Bayete in Victoria Falls, is located in the quieter suburbs just a few minutes drive from town centre and the falls themselves. They will assist you with a taxi into town when you require one. You have two nights here to give you time to enjoy all the falls have to offer. From there is is a road transfer of 2.5 hours to Hwange and Ivory Lodge. Accommodation is in tented rooms, really comfortable with en-suite bathrooms. They all have views over the waterhole in front of the camp and there is a hide looking onto the waterhole that will allow you to get closer to the action.

Example Itinerary

(B) Breakfast, (L) Lunch, (D) Dinner

You will be met at Victoria Falls Airport by the transfer company who will be waiting at arrivals with your name on a sign and they will transfer you to Bayete.

There are many activities available in the falls and we are happy to provide you with details and book these. We recommend a sunset cruise, helicopter flight over the falls and The Boma dinner and Drum show.

Victoria Falls

Resting on the southern banks of the Zambezi River at the western end of the eponymous falls, this popular tourist town is compact enough to walk around and makes an ideal base for travellers exploring the seventh wonder of the world, the unfathomably vast Victoria Falls. About two-thirds of the falls can be viewed from the Zimbabwean side and, while the falls are undoubtedly the star attraction, the area provides both adventure seekers and sightseers with plenty of opportunities to warrant a longer stay. Popular activities include scenic flights over the falls in helicopters or microlights, bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls Bridge, white-water rafting (seasonal), and day trips to Chobe National Park. The town itself offers some excellent accommodation and restaurant options as well as an eclectic variety of African curios and authentic art sold by friendly Zimbabwean locals who are wonderfully welcoming and eager to help you enjoy your stay. You do not need a guide to see the falls as the paths are clear and well signposted. Lunch at The Lookout Cafe afterwards is a great way to finish as it has incredible views over the gorge. (At additional costs).
