Deka Camp

Deka Camp is an exclusive safari camp situated in the far northwest of Hwange National Park, resting on top of the low foothills which offer spectacular vistas as far as the eye can see. Arguably the most remote camp in the region, the chances of running into other guests is slim as you explore the wilderness in search of meandering plains game, with the likes of elephant, buffalo, sable, roan, giraffe, wildebeest, impala and even gemsbok readily awaiting adventurous eyes. The private concession allows for around the clock game drives, ushering new experiences after dark. The small camp consists of eight units, made of thatch, local rock and canvas. Ideal for taking the whole camp for groups, facilitating intimate adventures away from the crowds. The style of the camp is local rock and canvas walls with thatch roofs, featuring hot and cold running water, flush toilets, comfortable beds with first class linen and extensive patio views. The camp is designed to blend with the environment and the style compliments this.

KaingU Safari Lodge

Located just on the edge of Kafue National Park, KaingU Safari Lodge sits near the bank of the Kafue River. In the heart of this unexplored wilderness lies the lodge, built with the desire to blend into their surroundings and with eco-friendly materials and methods. With only 7 chalets, this camp is private and exclusive and offers guests unique experiences of the untouched beauty of the surroundings. The chalets are all comfortable, with a traditional safari feel whilst also including all home comforts, and a unique outdoor shower. The main area of the lodge acts as the central hub of KaingU, it is here fresh, delicious meals, prepared with local ingredients are served and drinks around the fire pit, under the starry sky, can be enjoyed in the evening.

Hwange Bush Camp

Remotely situated within the northern region of Hwange National Park, an expansive wildlife reserve spanning over 14,640km2 lies Hwange Bush Camp, an exclusive property offering scenic diversity, with open grasslands, natural springs and pumped water points. This prime wildlife viewing location offers frequent sightings of concentrated plains game, featuring many staple safari creatures such as lion, cheetah, giraffe, sable antelope, greater kudu and many more. Wildlife game viewing activities include drives in open 4X4 safari vehicles, or guided walks accompanied by one of Bush Camp’s professional guides. Bush Camp caters for a maximum of 12 guests in 6 spacious and tastefully decorated twin-bedded Meru tents, with private en-suite facilities including flush toilets & bush showers with hot water.

Jozibanini Camp

Located in the remote southwestern region of Hwange National Park, Jozibanini Camp delivers an intimate wildlife viewing experience with a slew of creature comforts meant to impart lasting memories of your time in the bush. With a vast selection of game viewing activities to choose from, featuring classic 4×4 safari game drives, guided bush walks, bird watching, mountain biking, game viewing hides and more, there’s plenty of ways to experience the bountiful wildlife and scenery that surrounds you. The ecosystem here is semi-desert akin to the Kalahari in neighbouring Botswana. Ancient windblown fossil sand dunes are separated by shallow valleys where elephant paths have compacted the terrain, offering the optimum environment for prime game viewing. Accommodation is comprised of twin and double tented units, both featuring comfortable beds and an en-suite bathroom with an al fresco shower and a private deck for slumber stargazing. Linkwasha Camp

Linkwasha Camp lies in a private concession near the Ngamo Plains in Hwange National Park. Hwange is known for its prolific summer or green season game viewing, and Linkwasha adds an extra dimension during the dry season, when wildlife streams to drink from the pan immediately in front of the camp. Nine luxurious en-suite tents (eight twin and one family) make this the most exclusive of Hwange’s camps. The multi-level main area shares the same unimpeded views, and day and night safaris in open 4×4 vehicles, walks and village visits let guests get to know their neighbours, both animal and human.

Little Makalolo Camp

A charming, intimate camp in the south-east of Hwange, “Little Mak” features prominently on the mental maps of local wildlife, all drawn to its reliable waterhole. A log-pile hide affords unique, thrilling close-up views of elephants, and habitat diversity ensures year-round wildlife. Activities focus on game drives and morning nature walks. The many waterholes produce amazing sightings, or guests can relax in camp and wait for wildlife to come to them. The six spacious en-suite tents (including a family tent) are only surpassed in the experience stakes by the opportunity to sleep out at the Madison Pan star bed.

Nantwich Lodge

Nantwich Lodge is sat in the wilds of the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. With only 9 suites this lodge feels private and exclusive, and rolling grasslands and dotted woodlands surrounding the lodge on all sides accentuates the feeling of this wonderful wild land being yours to explore. Guests can explore the area on a game drive or guided walk, both are excellent ways to find out more about the Hwange National Park and what inhabits the area, from herds of elephants, hippos, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, hyenas and lions. The lodge overlooks a large dam, which means guests have a perfect view of sly crocodiles and migratory birds who wallow in the shallows. The lodge is eco-friendly and uses local resources and ingredients wherever possible, so guests can be ensured that their stay is authentically and uniquely Zimbabwean.

Royal Chundu Zambezi River Lodge

Sitting on the banks of the Zambezi River is Royal Chundu Zambezi River Lodge, an authentic and luxurious riverside lodge, built in harmony with the surrounding nature. There are 10 lodges which are comfortable, with unique traditional touches and expansive private deckings which overlook the sparkling waters of the river. There is no shortage of exploration and adventure around the lodge, from day tripping to Victoria Falls, to exploring Katombora Island and enjoying fresh local food by the riverbank. The selections of activities includes exploration of the land, the water and the air. After a day spent in the heart of nature, wind down by the swimming pool or enjoy a refreshing drink by the bar, before feasting on a traditional African inspired meal, made with locally sourced ingredients.

Robins Camp

Robins Camp, now under private new management, offers an exciting revival of the iconic safari destination in Hwange National Park. Robins Camp is situated in the rugged northern Basalt area of the park, an area rich in natural water with seeps and springs dotting the area. It is the home to some of the last great buffalo herds in Africa, with herds of over 2000 still seen. Given the abundance of prey animals, it is no wonder that it also has the highest concentration of lion in the Park. Robins is also known for big populations of reedbuck, roan, sable and tsessebe as well as the usual herds of elephants and other species encountered in the Park. Particularly encouraging are the regular sightings of both Cheetah and Painted Dog. The scenery of Robins is varied with hills, kopjes (small bouldered hills) and vlei (grassed plains that flood seasonally) areas and has a lot to offer the wildlife enthusiast. We welcome children of all ages and guests can self-drive or choose a fully guided trip.

Changa Safari Camp

Changa Safari Camp is situated on the shores of the beautiful Lake Kariba, offering guests stunning views of Kariba’s sapphire waters and the Matusadona mountains. The camp was founded by the Preston and Higgins families, who wanted other families to be able to visit the beautiful and rugged landscape of Matusadona National Park and appreciate the stunning and diverse natural surroundings, as well as the incredible creatures that live here. The 6 deluxe tents and 2 family rooms are set amongst the small trees that stand along the lake’s shore, offering views over the water and the sweeping landscape. The camp’s main area is a hub of entertainment and relaxation, with a refreshing lakeside swimming pool, lounge area and bar.
