Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge

Nkasa Lupala Lodge consists of ten luxury tents for guests to stay in where they can enjoy complete privacy and fully immerse within the naturally stunning backdrop that Namibia has to offer. This lodge is also completely energy self-sufficient, so guests can stay here knowing that they’re supporting initiatives giving back to the environment. The property is a joint venture between the private sector and the Wuparo Conservancy which is part of the successful Namibian conservancies programme followed by IRDNC and WWF. Jackalberry Tented Camp

The Jackalberry Tented Camp, a sister lodge to Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge, is the epitome of privacy for anyone who visits. Part of an exclusive activity concession from MET, it is built inside the Nkasa Rupara National Park formerly known as Mamili National Park. With just four exclusive luxury tents available on the property, guests can enjoy quiet and peaceful seclusion in the heart of the wilderness. Located close to Linyanti River, animals roam freely across the camp; you may even be fortunate enough to be visited by the local elephants as you blissfully gaze out of your own tent. Kanaan Naankuse Desert Retreat

Situated on 35,000 hectares of unspoilt nature, guests at Kanaan Naansuke Desert Retreat will be able to bask in the beauty of sand dunes that stretch for miles and admire the breath taking views of mountain vistas. The focus of the desert retreat property is to rehabilitate the land, making it a conservation area to protect the wildlife and natural environment. The property borders the Namib Naukluft Park and with captivating scenery from every angle, it is a nature lover’s paradise and a photographer’s dream. Guests will get to choose between a luxury tent or a camp site depending on their desired experience. The luxury canvas tents each have En-suites and offer guests stunning views of a watering hole where animals can be seen roaming around. The Hide

The Hide is situated within Hwange National Park, and enjoys regular wildlife traffic. The lodge backs onto a shady and peaceful acacia woodland and overlooks a permanent waterhole where elephants frequently visit to drink and play in the cool water. Giraffes and buffalo are also common visitors to the camp, and guests can watch them wander along the horizon from the comfort of the refreshing swimming pool. The Hide’s location means that guests can constantly enjoy Zimbabwe’s incredible wildlife, and have an authentic safari experience in the heart of the African bush. Guests can choose to stay either in one of the 10 tented bedrooms, complete with en-suite bathrooms and either twin or double bed configurations, or in the larger suites which are ideal for families and groups travelling together. Guests can also choose to spend a night in the Dove’s Nest, a private and remote treehouse that overlooks a water pan frequented by giraffes, where couples can retreat for some time alone together with exclusive wildlife views.

Somalisa Acacia Camp

Nestled amongst Acacia trees in the vast Hwange National Park lies Somalisa Acacia Camp. Authentic and traditional, this safari camp is private and exclusive, when full, only accommodating 12 guests. The suites are luxurious and comfortable with unique wooden and brick features running throughout, and a wood burner fireplace which guests can snuggle around on a cold night. A large sparkling swimming pool sits in front of the main area of camp overlooking the watering hole, so guests can relax in the pool keeping an eye on wandering elephants and thirsty animals. A unique boma fire pit sits next to the pool, so after a long day exploring the national park and dining on fresh and local food, guests can gather here and sit under the wide starry sky and immerse themselves in the sights, smells and sounds of Hwange.

Camelthorn Lodge

Bomani’s sister camp, Camelthorn Lodge, is located within a private reserve on the edge of Hwange National Park. Camelthorn Lodge backs onto a woodland area, the trees creating a natural shelter. The eight forest villas are designed to maintain a comfortable climate through both the summer and winter months, and their location in a remote section of the Ngamo Plain means that guests can enjoy a private and exclusive safari experience in a tranquil setting. The lodge is built around an ancient Camelthorn tree, incorporating the trunk in its design as a centrepiece. Less than a kilometre away, the local wildlife congregates at one of the waterholes maintained by the lodge. Here, guests can watch the elephants as they play and bathe in the water, hidden in an underground blind which offers incredible photographic opportunities for capturing the perfect candid shot.

Busanga Bush Camp

Busanga Bush Camp lies in the heart of the Busanga Plains in Kafue National Park. Surrounded by vast wilds and endless horizons the camp is intimate and exclusive, with an authentic and traditional safari atmosphere. With only 4 tents the camp offers a unique and private safari experience for guests. The tents are comfortable, with cosy beds lying opposite doors which open on to the verandah and offer views over the rolling plains – which can be enjoyed from the comfort of your bed. Dinner and drinks are served in the main dining area or can be enjoyed outside around the boma and under the wide sky. Exploration of the surroundings and diverse wildlife is offered in day and night game drives, boat rides over the flood waters and hot air balloon rides, giving guests the unique opportunity to enjoy the Busanga Plains from all angles and create memories which will last a lifetime.
