Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge

Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge is located in the heart of Tarangire, Tanzania’s wild land and landscapes. Tarangire is famed for its massive elephant herds, true sense of wilderness and a gentle backdrop of baobabs. It is the lesser visited but more intriguing park on the northern circuit. At Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge, we have 10 standard tented suites PLUS 2 x 2 bedroom inter-connected tented family suites that are open throughout the year. During these dry months, the massive elephants herds travel through the corridor between Manyara and Tarangire and spend their time in and around the park. This is because of their ability to uncover permanent sources of fresh water. The main thatched area is open plan from bar to lounge to dining area – and offset with a stunning rim flow pool in front of the property overlooking the wild expanses ahead, all the way to the Great Rift Valley wall.

Shu’Mata Camp

Situated directly under the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, this luxurious and rugged retreat is one of the best ways to experience the allure of Africa. A permanent camp comprised of a handful of Hemingway style tents, the installation is situated on a hill in the Masai tribal lands in Amboselli National Park. A stunning landscape of contrasts and stark beauty, the tents were designed and positioned to capture it all with 360 degree views of the savannah and Kilimanjaro. Positioned in a line along the ridge, there are a total of seven tents that form the unique and adventurous compound.

Siwandu

Sheltered in a grove of palms on the shores of Lake Nzerakera, part of the watery byways of the Rufiji River system, Siwandu is perfectly situated within the prime game area to fully experience the abundant wildlife of Selous Game Reserve. Explore the breathtaking landscape by foot on our morning game walks, by 4WD vehicles with our expert driver guides and on the water with boat cruises on both the river and on the lake. Broadly spaced along the lakeshore, Siwandu’s superbly appointed accommodation ensures maximum privacy and every opportunity to soak up the sights and sounds of the purest African bush. The ten spacious octagonal tents allows guests to observe animals as they saunter past while reclining on the majestic king sized bed under the overhead fan or from the open-air stargazer showers which adjoin the en-suite bathrooms.

Naona Moru Camp

Naona Moru Camp offers ten tented suites in a quiet corner south-west of central Serengeti. It’s location is a natural alcove, it is protected with lush vegetation, but with a small open plain for game watching a stone’ throw away. It is also in good distance for central Serengeti game driving, and also the wildlife-filled habitats around the Moru Kopjes. Combine crisp white sheets, gentle Serengeti breezes, running hot water, attractive neutral decor with a pop of colour, comfortable sitting area, Victorian desk to record adventures, WI-FI and an efficient service – this is how wild elegance is served. Wash off the ‘safari powder’ in the large shower recess or relax outside the tent to hear the sounds of the wild. Located on an elevated viewing point beside the famous Moru Kopjes, this tented camp allows for drive in and game package clients to explore the resident and migratory wild game all year round. The landscape pans from the great southern plains of the Serengeti into the central hub of the most famous national park in Africa, close to Seronera Airstrip. The tented suites cater for honeymooners with private bush dinners, a small group of friends and even families with large tents to place bedding for two adults and up to three children.

Chada Katavi

Chada Katavi offers guests an authentic safari camp experience in the heart of Katavi National Park. Retreat into nature at this simple yet comfortable bush camp, where guests can enjoy wildlife viewing from the comfort of their private verandah. The camp overlooks the Chada Plain from the shade of the acacia and tamarind trees, and its proximity to the river and waterholes means that guests will be able to watch the many resident hippos as they lounge in the cooling waters. The camp’s natural aesthetic and small size of just 6 tents offers an exclusive safari experience, and a chance to get away from the rest of the world, immersing yourself in the stunning natural world that Western Tanzania has to offer.

Enasoit Camp

Enasoit is situated in the foothills of Mount Kenya, located in the Laikipia region. The camp is intimate and private, when guests book they are also booking exclusive use of 4000 acres of Kenyan wilderness. Only one group of guests can book at a time, making this the perfect place for a large family or group of friends. The camp is relaxed and welcoming, with friendly, attentive staff ready to make your safari experience unique. The main mess tent sits alongside a waterhole, where guests can watch some of the amazing animals local to this area – giraffe, elephant and hippo – gather for a cooling drink on a hot day.

Kicheche Laikipia Camp

Kicheche Laikipia is a small and intimate camp, tucked beneath shady, leafy trees at the edge of a dense forest in the shadows of Mount Kenya. Views from the tent encompasses African bush and a watering hole where thirsty animals frequently gather to have a refreshing drink on hot days. The camp is a Gold Eco Rated Facility by EcoTourism Kenya, and this can be demonstrated in the light footprint that the camp leaves and how it blends into the surrounding Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This conservancy is quiet and private, allowing for excellent game viewing and night game drives. The areas surrounding the camp are sanctuaries for many endangered species such as black rhino, elephant and Grevy’s zebra. Guests of Kicheche Laikipia will receive a unique experience and make long-lasting memories from this camp in the heart of Kenya.

Sanctuary Tambarare Camp

Scored by the equatorial line, Sanctuary Tambarare Camp is nestled amongst fever trees in the shadow of Mount Kenya and delivers the perfect balance of adventure and serenity. Situated on the award-winning Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sanctuary Tambarare enjoys access to 90,000 acres of land, which it shares with the Big Five. A retreat to this harmonious landscape brings you alongside such incredible creatures as Najin and Fatu, the last two remaining northern white rhinoceros on the planet.

Elewana Loisaba Lodo Springs

Take a trip out of time to become immersed in the magisterial landscape of the Loisaba Conservancy. This retreat offers absolute privacy, allowing guests to explore the vast conservancy plains with few but the wildlife for company! The few people that remain are Lodo Springs’ friendly and attentive staff who aim to please wherever possible. Guests are accommodated in luxury tents, and enjoy en suite bathrooms, and experience sublime views from the comfort of their chic rooms. Lodo Springs’ infinity pool also commands a superb view over the landscape below; perched on the hillside of Lodo Springs, this vantage point is fit to satisfy a wildlife photographer’s deepest desires!

Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp

Perched on an escarpment overlooking the outstretched plains below, Loisaba Tented Camp enjoys the expanses of the Loisaba Conservancy set before it. The 57,000-acre conservancy is home to one of Kenya’s thriving lion populations, and the Tented Camp enjoys a close proximity to a vital elephant corridor. The conservancy is also home to notable northern species, such as Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich, which are less common in Kenya’s southern conservancies. Guests are accommodated by incredibly friendly staff, and are hosted in luxury tents, which enjoy sublime views from their position atop the dramatic escarpment, elevated above the landscape, where sublime views can be enjoyed from tent, veranda, or from the Tented Camp’s divine infinity pool.
