Otjimbondona Kalahari is situated 120km south east of Windhoek / Namibia and 80km from the Hosea Kutako International Airport on a 4500 hectare Private Nature Reserve on the fringes of the Namibian Kalahari.
This boutique destination with the inviting Manor House, where guests meet for meals, activities and leisure and the four modern, comfortably decorated Villas is the perfect place to start or end your Namibia safari or simply relax and unwind.
The following activities are part of the Otjimbondona experience: nature/game drives, farming experience, nature walks, fat biking, sundowners in the bush or at the fire place, a grill evening in the boma, in-house sauna and gym, wellness treatments in the comfort of your Villa or sun deck.

Zambezi Mubala Lodge

Along the edge of the mighty Zambezi River, lies the water sanctuary of Zambezi Mubala Lodge & Camp. A bird-lover’s dream, this lodge is home to one of the largest colonies of Carmine Bee-eaters, that live along the banks of the majestic Zambezi. Birds are often joined by the occasional hippo or crocodile, baking in the shallow waters along the banks. Guests can relax and watch the colours of life sail along the steady current of the river.

Zambezi Mubala Camp

Zambezi Mubala Camp is idyllically set on the water’s edge in a grove of tall, shady trees. For those who love the outdoors as much as their creature comforts, glamorous camping aka ‘glamping’ at Zambezi Mubala Camp is just for you.
Glamping on the banks of the Zambezi River takes camping to an entirely new level. Eight safari tents (sleeping four) with en-suite bathrooms provide comfortable Zambezi homes. Guests have the option of cooking up a storm in their fully-equipped kitchens, having a bite to eat at the camp’s restaurant or picking up a braai pack for a hearty barbeque.

Serra Cafema

Set amongst shady trees on the banks of the Kunene River, Serra Cafema is one of the most remote camps in southern Africa, its Portuguese name originating from the mountains that dominate the northern skyline. Guests fall asleep to the sound of rushing water, while by day they explore one of the driest deserts in the world.
Activities here are varied, including boating (water levels permitting), walking, viewing breathtaking landscapes, as well as carefully guided quad-bike excursions that tread lightly on the dunes. In this isolated region, the Himba people continue their nomadic, traditional way of life and when in the area, guests have the opportunity to meet them and learn about their lifestyle and traditions.

Hoanib Valley Camp

Hoanib Valley Camp occupies a stunning spot in a remote corner of the wilderness. Virtually untouched, those who visit will experience comfort but also feel immersed within nature. The camp itself has been designed to ensure that the natural wildlife is as protected as possible. With guests staying in tents that have the luxuries of an Ensuite as well as Wi-Fi, the interior décor matches the rustic surroundings. Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge
